new keychain cam
got a new keychain camera. ALSO, i have everything but the usb cord for my first keychain camera, and even though the one i just bought looks exactly like it, apparently the USB thing is different because it won't work with it, :< , a different company makes the new one, sigh. (the old one is a precision mini digital camera, the new one is a phillips keychain digital camera).

anyway, only one trial run on HIGH res on the new camera, and it's crazy like a fox.

Spycam in space!
I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I work closely with an alien race who is getting ready to "harvest" the Earth of it's tasty humanoids. I therefore have access to my own little personal spaceship, which is in a hidden orbit around Earth. I use it to present reports to my masters about my progress in preparing our planet for it's future demise. Anyway, I thought I'd take the keychain camera and snap a few shots during my latest space trip.

I "beam" into my little celestial chariot, just like on Star Trek. I thought you might be interested in what it looks like just as the beam is beginning to convert your molecules into energy for easy transport. Photo below.

Below is a photo of my exhaust (or energy signature) just as I start to speed away from the earth. You can see the curvature of the earth in the lower left of the photo.

Another quick shot as I speed away.

This a very blurry shot of Mars as I sped by.

I accidently dropped the camera on the floor of the spacecraft, and was out of the solar system before I found it again, so that's all the shots I got. Sorry.

I will soon have a keychain camera!
hi! my name is cindy, and i just bought a keychain camera and am sooo excited!

i first became familiar with these little gems by on somavenus's diary (hi! luv your work!). i have a very nice digital camera, but find myself frustrated to carry it around because it's so bulky. i also can't take it places like the beach for fear of it being grabbed when i'm swimming. my alternative was to invest in disposables, but they tend to really add up between constant purchasing and development fees. when i sae these little cameras though, i realized my problems were solved!

i just purchased 2 - one for me and one for my boy. we can't wait!!!! i'll post pics soon!

Today's chores
I've got something real exciting today. It's time to go get my ANNUAL haircut! It hasn't really been a year, but it's been months. I hate getting haircuts. I always go to the mall, to one of those $15 chop shops. Each time it's exciting to see which new alcoholic trailer dweller I will get to cut my hair. It's always a woman who is at the lowest point in her life, and that's why she recently took up cutting hair.
Here I am getting ready to go.

OK, last one for today
I just HAD to post this one. It's a new technique I've mastered which I call "The ol' finger over the lense method". I'm hoping to patent this method of photography, so that everyone who does it has to pay me a royalty.

last but not least! flame camper!!
sorry for the flood -- i'll be down to one post a day max from here on out ;)

somewhere along the new york / vermont border.  shot with spycam while riding in a car.

digital errors!!!! happy surprise!
when the battery starts to die (in my case usually after shooting over 60 pictures)the camera starts making weird errors and you get something like this...

+ crazzzzy errors = fun!Collapse )
9:22 am
people watchin! all shot from moving car
one of the coolest things to do is use this thing as an actual spycam. I'm not sure if many people ever see me taking pictures of them and the ones that do see me holding out a camera may not know it's actually a camera!
